How can I confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking, we require a minimum advance payment. For any of our day tours, the payment is $50 USD. For short tours, it is $250 USD. For holiday packages, you will need to pay either $900 or 40% of the total booking amount, whichever is less. (This applies only to holiday packages.)

We are committed to providing you with exceptional service in a warm and friendly environment. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable journey. To avoid any misunderstandings, please note that an advance payment is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance to be paid either before your departure or upon arrival in Bangladesh, but certainly before the services begin.

Cancellation Policy

Travel Alert:

If your country issues a travel warning for Bangladesh or if Bangladesh faces a lockdown, travel alert, or natural disaster, you can reschedule your tour at no extra cost. If you‘re unable to find a suitable time to reschedule, we will provide a full refund, minus payment processing fees.

Day Tour Cancellation:

You can cancel any day tour with a written email notice at least 17 days in advance, and no charges will apply, except for the payment processing fee. We will issue a full refund of the amount paid. However, if you fail to inform us in advance, the $50 deposit will be non-refundable.

Short Tour or Holiday Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation of short tours or holiday services (short tours are considered those lasting fewer than 4 nights) for any reason, whether avoidable or unavoidable, we require written email notification. Cancellation charges will take effect from the date we receive your written notice. The cancellation fees are as follows:

  • 60 days or more: Full refund (no service charge).
  • 45 days: 20% of the total tour cost will be deducted as a service charge.
  • 30 days: 30% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
  • 15 days: 40% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
  • 7 days: 50% of the total tour cost will be deducted.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund will be provided.
Note: A payment processing fee of up to 4%, depending on the payment method, will be deducted from the refund.Cancellation emails are counted based on working days. If the request is made on a Saturday or Sunday, the cancellation will be considered from the next working day.

If you cancel the trip after it has started, any refund will be limited and based on the amount we are able to recover from our partners, such as hotels, ticketing agencies, and service providers. Please note, we are not responsible for refunding unused services such as hotel accommodations, transportation, missed meals, or other pre-booked services. All types of refunds will be processed within 2 to 4 weeks.

Itinerary Adjustments:

Before your booking is confirmed, we happily process itinerary changes free of charge to ensure the best tour experience. However, after confirmation, a fee of $50 USD per request will apply, and changes to the departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Mystic Bengal Tours reserves the right to modify your itinerary if changes in air schedules, surface transportation, or events beyond our control make it necessary. Any increase or reduction in the tour cost will be calculated and charged or refunded accordingly. If you request the changes, any additional costs will need to be paid in advance.

Service Disclaimer

Mystic Bengal Tours acts solely as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport providers, and contractors, and all bookings and tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of those providers. Sample itineraries are offered as general guides, and factors like weather, road conditions, and participant capabilities may require changes before or during the tour. We reserve the right to alter schedules for the safety and comfort of participants. We are not liable for delays or expenses caused by natural hazards, flight cancellations, equipment breakdowns, or any unforeseen incidents.

Responsibility and Liability

We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property arising from accommodation, transportation, or services beyond our control, including accidents, civil disturbances, theft, or medical issues. Clients are responsible for their own baggage and personal belongings at all times. We do not provide insurance for accidents, illness, or theft, and visitors are advised to arrange their own insurance coverage before traveling.

Health and Accessibility Requirements

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, we kindly ask that you inform us in writing, at the time of booking or before, of any physical, emotional, or mental condition that may require special attention during the trip. If you need a wheelchair, please bring a small, collapsible one, but note that not all of our tours are wheelchair-accessible. Mystic Bengal Tours reserves the right to decline participation if we believe a condition could impact the health, safety, or comfort of others. Additionally, we are unable to accommodate guests who are over six months pregnant for safety reasons
