A must-visit country with the best tour operator.
We had a nine-day tour with Mystic Bengal. The original tour was seven days in Dhaka and Sundarban. My husband and I like to meet local people in every country we travel to. We requested Naeem, the owner of Mystic Bengal Tours, to add some extra places where we could meet locals. Barisal was a fantastic place to visit. The river and the connection between the river and the people are some of the best things here. People are so dependent on the river, though it sometimes becomes a source of danger for them. The original Dhaka and Sundarban tour was fabulous too. Dhaka was a cultural shock; we were surprised to see the contrast between the city and the village. Sundarban was the complete opposite of Dhaka—calm and tranquil. The restaurants and choices throughout the entire tour were excellent. We loved the food in Sundarban. If you are traveling to Bangladesh, Mystic Bengal and its team would be the best choice for you. Our guide, Naeem, was a fun and amazing person to be around. The driver was very polite too. Overall, we highly recommend Mystic Bengal Tours.
